Julia wanted turtles and frogs on her cake this year! I wasn't sure how to make frogs or turtles but, I think it turned out kind of cute! I can't believe my little sweetheart will be 8 years old tomorrow!

Julia is infatuated with frogs. She LOVES the little guys. Real ones, slimy ones, green ones, brown ones, croaking ones and stuffed ones. This one is her favorite snugly frog. She was snuggled up with him when she looked out the window and saw and amazing sunset so she ran out side and wanted me to take her picture with her frog and the sunset. It was such a sweet picture that I just thought I would share it with ya'll. Julia really loves beautiful things in life and often reminds us all to stop and look! She is a wonderful hearted girl!
Isaac just got his first pair of glasses....I took him for his 9 year old check up with the pediatrician and they came and got me and told me he didn't pass his eye exam and recommended he go to the eye doctors. So, of course I took him. Isaac doesn't like people touching his face or being in his facial region so it made for a very interesting eye exam to say the least. And of course the doctor said he needed glasses...I have to say that I am not totally shocked because Dan and I both wear glasses but, I was because he didn't exhibit any signs to me of having vision problems. But, his glasses do have quite a bit of correction. He sees much better now but, of course he feels a little shy and kind of silly and embarrassed about wearing them but, after a few weeks he will not even care anymore. I hope anyways! But, I do think he looks really cute and smart with them. Don't you?
